2022 Futures Game rosters

The 2022 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game will be held on Saturday, July 16, at Dodger Stadium, and while complete rosters for the showcase will be revealed on Thursday on MLB Network, SiriusXM on Wednesday unveiled a handful of the participants, including six prospects ranked among MLB Pipeline’s Top 100.

Baseball’s No. 3 overall prospect, Corbin Carroll, is the top-ranked player among the eight announced on Wednesday. The D-backs outfield prospect will be joined on the National League roster by Marlins right-hander Eury Pérez (No. 17), Padres outfielder Robert Hassell III (No. 25) and Giants lefty Kyle Harrison (No. 27).

On the American League side, 2021 No. 2 overall Draft pick Jack Leiter (Rangers, No. 18) will be joined by Rays infielder Curtis Mead (No. 62), Angels left-hander Ky Bush (LAA No. 4) and Red Sox outfielder Ceddanne Rafaela (BOS No. 27) ).

The 2022 Futures Game features the top Minor League prospects competing as part of the first-ever All-Star Saturday. It will once again feature a National League vs. American League format, which was introduced in 2019 following 20 years of US vs. World matchups. The game, which is scheduled for seven innings, will begin at 7 pm ET/4 PT exclusively on Peacock and SiriusXM.

Two-time World Series Champion and World Series-winning manager Mike Scioscia will lead the NL squad, while fellow World Series Champion and 2007 NL Most Valuable Player Jimmy Rollins will manage the AL team.

SiriusXM, the Official Satellite Radio Partner of Major League Baseball, will provide live play-by-play coverage of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on MLB Network Radio. The game can be heard by SiriusXM subscribers on SiriusXM radios (channel 89), on the SXM App and online at SiriusXM.com/mlb.

Gates open at 2 pm PT on All-Star Saturday with the first 10,000 fans to receive a special All-Star souvenir giveaway. Tickets for All-Star Saturday, which are available now, can be purchased at AllStarGame.com.
