At the Disney & Marvel ‘D23 Expo’ earlier today, Switch fans were treated to a special exclusive announcement.
introducing Disney Illusion Island – a brand new 2D four-player co-op adventure starring “Mickey & Friends”. In this new game, you’ll go on an adventure with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy as you run, swim, wing and jump your way through three “magical books” to save the world.
This will involve unlocking special abilities, solving puzzles, performing platforming feats and taking down some “epic” bosses.
So, when is this one coming out – for now, it’s simply ‘TBD 2023’. As can be seen in the tweet above, it’s developed by the English developer Dlala Studios – best known in recent years for its work on Battletoads for Xbox and PC.
