Former Real Housewives Of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her girlfriend Victoria Brito have gone their separate ways.
The 44-year-old reality star and the younger model split up earlier this week, sources told TMZ.
The two had dated for nearly nine months, in the wake of Braunwyn coming out as a lesbian in 2020.
It’s over: Braunwyn Windham-Burke has separated from her girlfriend Victoria Brito (L), TMZ reported on Friday; seen together in April in Beverly Hills
According to sources close to the exes, they broke up over distance and work issues.
The two reportedly came to the realization that the relationship wasn’t working while Victoria was down in Mexico for work, while Braunwyn was back in Orange County, California.
Even when Victoria wasn’t on a work trip, the long distance relationship was still difficult for the two, as the model lives in New York City while Braunwyn lives with her family in Southern California.
They apparently decided they couldn’t devote enough time to each other with their work schedules and the distance.
The sources also claimed that the couple’s initial honeymoon atmosphere quickly faded.
Long distance: The couple reportedly decided to split while Victoria was in Mexico for work and Braunwyn was back home with her family in Orange County, California; seen in NYC in May
Too far: Victoria was also based in New York City, adding to their long-distance issues; seen in November 2021 in Miami, Florida
Braunwyn — who became the first openly gay housewife on any of Bravo’s shows in the franchise — and Victoria began their romance back in November of last year, before making it official with a PDA-filled trip to the beach the following month.
Although the romantic part of their marriage appears to be no more, Braunwyn and her husband Sean Burke have so far remained married.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2000, shares eight children together: Bella, 21; Rowan, 20; Jacob, 16; twins Caden and Curran, grandma; Koa, loving; and Hazel, four.
On Thursday, prior to the news breaking, Braunwyn took to her Instagram Stories to delve into her sober journey.
‘When I got sober, I thought, “OK, now I’m not gonna drink and everything is gonna be easy,”‘ she said in an Insta Stories video filmed from her bed. ‘I did not realize the s*** that was coming my way.
‘Every time I think it can’t get worse, it does,’ Braunwyn continued. ‘When does this end? I do have these moments like, “I didn’t get sober for this to be so hard.”‘

But she ended her clip by defiantly stating, ‘I’m not gonna drink.’
In June, the reality star told Us Weekly that it was ‘hard’ for her daughter Bella to see either of her parents dating new people, though she stressed that her daughter’s issue was ‘Not with the fact that I’m dating a woman, ’cause we are a very open family.’
In June, she shared with Page Six that her husband Sean and Victoria had a ‘friendly’ relationship, though they weren’t close.
‘Sean and Victoria have hung out, they’re friendly,’ Braunwyn explained. ‘But it’s not like we’re one big happy family. They both have respect for each other and that’s what it needs to be.’
