Forspoken
“Forspoken” has been delayed again, the PC and PS5 console exclusives have been pushed out of its October 11th release window and will now release on January 24th 2023.

In a tweet announcing the delay, publisher Square Enix blamed a ‘strategic decision’ for the delay but adds new information about the game that will be forthcoming later this summer. [Source: Twitter]

The Matrix Awakens
The free “The Matrix Awakens” Unreal Engine 5 demo is being delisted with the title set to no longer be available from July 9th to download it on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 so grab it while you can.

The title shows off the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 which will power numerous upcoming game titles including the next “Tomb Raider” and “Witcher” installations. [Source: Coming Soon]

Cobra Kai 2: Dojos
Publisher GameMill Entertainment has announced “Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising” will be released this fall on all platforms. A sequel to 2020’s “Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues,” developer Flux Game Studio return for a continued adaptation of the hit Netflix series.

The title deeply expands the playable roster of karate kids and their senseis – with 28 different characters from the show, each with unique special moves and abilities. [Source: Escapist Magazine]

Horizon: Forbidden West
Guerrilla Games has released patch 1.17 for “Horizon: Forbidden West” which adds support for variable refresh rates. There’s also a high refresh rate (HFR) mode for 120Hz displays, and a new ‘Balanced’ 40Hz graphics mode for displays that support 120Hz. [Source: YouTube]
