Justin Bieber’s grandma was involved in a gruesome car crash that involved tall flames back in Canada, people did not know who she was until a guy named Brandan Steven came forward and recognized the grandmother of the famous singer.
They saw a Facebook picture
A Facebook community page that is specifically for the Stratford area in Canada shared the aftermath of the crash, and the community administrator wanted to know who the person was. Steven, who could also be related to Bieber identified Kathy Bieber, who is his dad’s mother, she was the owner of the convertible and was inside of the car when the crash happened. Fortunately, she left the scene unscathed.
It was a red convertible

Apparently, Brandan was at the scene of the crash because he gave extensive details about what happened when a community member asked for more information regarding the incident, “we were at a dead stop as a car was turning left a couple of cars in front of us. Then a distracted driver rear-ended us they say she had to be doing 70.”
He continued “Wasn’t good had to pull my grandmother out of the car. could have been very bad if we were in there for even another 5 seconds as the doors were bound shut.”
They identified each
As soon as the news broke about who the owner of the car was, they tagged Jeremy Bieber in the post, and they tagged her too, that’s when people realized that it was Justin Bieber’s grandma because of the pictures they had when JB was way younger .
It is actually his step-grandmother
There is not much information about Justin Bieber’s family but people at TMZ claim that there are some pictures out there and that Kathy married George Bieber, so she is in fact Jeremy’s stem-mom, which makes her Justin’s step-grandma.
