Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are spending some quality time together following Barker’s hospitalization.
Last week, the Blink-182 drummer was rushed to the emergency room following a “life-threatening” case of pancreatitis. He has since recovered after undergoing “intensive treatment,” as he shared with fans on Instagram.
On July 4, the couple celebrated the holiday by embarking on a low-key beach day in Malibu, with kids Penelope and Reign Disick in tow. The Poosh founder shared a video of their excursion on her Instagram Story. In the clip, Kardashian wears a denim Prada bucket hat with a black bolero and a white tank top.
On his Instagram, Barker posted a picture of an elaborate floral arrangement composed of orange roses and dahlias, sent to him by momager-in-law Kris Jenner and her longtime boyfriend, Corey Gamble.
“Dearest Travis,” a note attached to the flowers read, “Get well soon!!! We love you, Kris and Corey xo.”
Barker wrote on the photo, “Thank you @krisjenner @coreygamble.”
The couple previously opened up about the health scare via social media.
“I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since,” Barker shared. “During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis. I am so very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.”
Kardashian, too, shared her experience of witnessing Barker’s hospitalization.
“Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change,” she wrote. “Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis. I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative.”
