Taylor Hawkins’ legacy continues to live on, even after his sudden death at the age of 50 earlier this year in March.

Oliver Shane, 16, joined a local band from Laguna Beach by drumming to the song, My Hero, in honor of his beloved father. The late star was a drummer for the rock band, Foo Fighters.

Teenage rock group, The Alive, was performing for a Fourth of July block party, and they welcomed Taylor’s son to pay a heartfelt tribute to his father since he couldn’t be there in person to celebrate the holiday.

The song, My Hero, was released by the Foo Fighters back in 1997 on The Color And The Shape Album.

Oliver, who also goes by Shane, was seen in a short clip uploaded by the local bad on their official Instagram page, no doubt making his father very proud.

The Alive added a caption to the video, thanking the Laguna Beach community for supporting them and also expressing that they were grateful the police didn’t shut them down.

The band also gave a shoutout to Shane. ‘Special thanks to @shane_hawkins_22 for sitting in.’

Taylor was found unresponsive in his Four Seasons hotel room in Columbia on March 25, following an emergency call about the drummer experiencing chest pains.

Taylor’s family supported his work and often joined him on tour, along with the other band members and their families.

The former Foo Fighters drummer was father to three children, Oliver, Annabelle, and Everleigh.

During a past interview with ET Canada along with his fellow bandmates, Taylor chimed in about how his last wanted to follow in his footsteps ever since he was a young boy.

‘My son, thinks, you know, he’s priming himself to take over my job in about 10 or 15 years, which fine,’ he stated. Little did he know, that statement would reign true to this day.

A Columbian-born fashion designer, whose animal skin purses have been used by celebrities and characters in ‘Sex and the City,’ was busted Friday on charges that she smuggled handbags made of endangered species into the country.

Nancy Gonzalez, owner of Gzuniga Ltd, and two other men were arrested by authorities in Columbia in coordination with an investigation by the US Fish and Wildlife Service for paying a network of couriers to fly hundreds of endangered python and caiman skin purses between the two countries .

Gonzalez will be extradited to the US to face charges.

Gonzalez’s satchels can go for up to $10,000 each and have been sold in high-end department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.

She and her alleged co-conspirators, Diego Rodriguez and John Aguilar, face up to 20 years in prison and $500,000 in fines.

Most caiman species are endangered, but some skins can be sold as long as the seller has obtained a certificate under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species or CITES.

Gonzalez, however, never obtained such permission and beginning in February 2016, she and her colleagues are alleged to have paid runners to carry multiple crocodile and snake skin bags in flights into Miami and JFK airports over the next four years.

The couriers would bring the clutches to the Gzuniga showroom in Midtown Manhattan where they would be sold or displayed during Fashion Week in September or Resort Week in June, according to a federal indictment filed in Miami federal court.

The fashion mules were told to say that the bags were gifts for friends and family if they were questioned by authorities.

In 2019, as many as 12 people carrying four handbags each boarded a flight to the US with round-trip tickets paid for by Gonzalez, investigators from the Fish and Wildlife Service told the Associated Press.

Gonzalez is expected to be extradited to the US to face charges of violating an international agreement on the importation of endangered animal products

The investigators asked for their identities to remain anonymous in order to not jeopardize their probe.

Gonzalez started out by making belts and transitioned to handbags in the late 1990s following a trip to New York, when she was encouraged by a designer store executive to build up a collection.

Salma Hayek, Britney Spears and Victoria Beckham reportedly bought her carefully crafted handbags, though it’s not clear if any of those were among the bags allegedly brought in illegally.

Her work was also included in a 2008 exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

In a 2019 interview Gonzalez told the Miami Herald that she felt ‘an enormous responsibility and commitment’ to improve her products, every time she saw a picture or a video of a celebrity using one of her handbags.

An email sent to Gonzalez’s website by the MailOnline seeking comment was not immediately returned.

Mothers’ Instinct is a remake of Olivier Masset-Depasse’s 2018 movie Duelles, which starred Anne Coesens and Veerle Baetens. Masset-Depasse is also directing the remake.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons are now officially married.

Page Six reported the couple, who share two children and have been together for six years, wed at the luxury GoldenEye resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica last weekend, citing a source.

‘I can just confirmed they got married. No other details will be given,’ Kirsten’s rep told the site.

Kirsten and Jesse started dating back in 2016 after meeting on the set of Fargo, and they became engaged the following year.

They share two sons, four-year-old Ennis and one-year-old James Plemons.

The couple also starred opposite one another in the 2021 Netflix drama Power Of The Dog, which saw them play husband and wife.

They both were nominated for Oscars for their roles yet did not win.

Speaking of Jesse, Kirsten told the New York Times: ‘My first impression was, ‘Oh, he’s like me.” We were two people who worked very similarly, and it felt like a soulmate.’

‘I knew he would be in my life forever,’ she said. ‘It was one of those connections where you just know. But we’re also very respectful people and were mindful of the fact that we were working together intensely.’

Jesse also had the same feeling. Speaking with the NY Times, he said: ‘I knew that she would be in my life for a long time.’

Speaking of their relationship in an interview with the LA Times earlier this year, Kirsten admitted she and Jesse ‘call each other husband and wife.’

‘We call each other husband and wife. But we have to get married at this point. It’s ridiculous. We just haven’t planned a wedding. There was COVID, then we had another child. I didn’t want to be pregnant, get married, have a party and not be able to have fun with everybody.’

Missy Peregrym revealed that she gave birth to a baby girl named Mela Josephine through a post that was shared to her Instagram account on Friday.

The 40-year-old performer posted a photo of her older son Otis, aged two, snuggling up next to his baby sister, who arrived in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The FBI actress also penned a lengthy message where she expressed her feelings about bringing another child into her life. This is Missy’s second child with her husband Tom Oakley.

Peregrym began by speaking about the emotions that she felt during Mela Josephine’s birth.

‘I was scared and supported, excited and cheered on, fully seen and heard. Lots of tears, questions and just as much laughter,’ she wrote.

The performer then revealed that she chose to have a water birth, which she felt was a positive experience.

‘It’s usually all about the baby, but this time, I was also cared for in every way, before, during and after the birth. I am so grateful I had the room to choose every step of the way, rewarded with the most calm, gentle entrance into the world for Mela,’ she noted.

The actress then revealed that she would be taking a brief hiatus from her acting career in order to care for her child, as she wrote: ‘@fbicbs is starting up again in a couple weeks, but I will be returning to work in September. ‘
