The Week 7 fantasy football waiver wire has some familiar names — and some brand new ones — as we pass the one-third mark of the 2022 NFL season. Depending on your roster, it’s time to start thinking about high-upside stashes, which include some players currently on IR. Don’t forget to plan for your quarterback and tight end bye weeks, as you don’t want to overpay during waivers while dealing with other managers competing.

HEADS UP

Players must be under 60% rostered on Yahoo

Listed in order of preference — I’ll often prioritize potential upside over immediate middling production

No FAB suggestions: It varies wildly by league trends and always relative (ex: if you lost your RB1 to injury and there is a clear backup, you’re going to be more aggressive)

Streaming QB and TE are grouped together— their ranking might change slightly once projections/ranks run, and DST could shift a bit too

😤 = I Tried to Tell Ya — players included for several weeks (not much more to add if you don’t want them)

🧐 = Check if Dropped — players whose managers might have cut for other need or impatient

WORRY REPORT

More DUCKS 🦆 (1-5) = More Concern (woo-hoo!)

Egg 🥚 = 1/2… or about to birth a new concern duck

Aaron Jones, GB 🦆🥚 — Jones’ overall Snap% is up from last year (58.3-62.7) with a slight downtick in PassSnap (66.1-63.5%). His rush attempts per game and TmTGT% are similar, and his YPC is up a ton. What gives? It’s merely his lack of touchdowns… well, and that Jones was always big-game reliant. Last year, 38.5% of his fantasy production came in three games.
