Capcom’s Resident Evil Showcase has revealed that the previously delayed Resident Evil Re:Verse will be offering an early access period, which kicks off next week with cross-play enabled between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.<\/h2>\n

Resident Evil Village was originally supposed to launch alongside its multiplayer counterpart, but after Resident Evil Re:Verse’s additional year of baking time, we can finally hop in and play as early as next week. It’ll also have cross-play enabled between Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC. <\/p>\n

As detailed on the Resident Evil website, the early access period will kick off on Monday, October 24th and run until October 26th. You’ll need to use the code that came with your purchase of Village if you bought it physically, while digital owners can just download the game from the Xbox Store. As it’s an online-only game you’ll need a Capcom ID account to jump in.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Resident Evil Showcase also revealed an update roadmap for the multiplayer-focused game. So far, the launch content and three post-launch updates have been revealed:<\/p>\n
