Clemson survived a scare from Syracuse, but fellow top 10 unbeatens Ole Miss and UCLA weren’t as lucky on the road Saturday, results that are guaranteed to shake up Sunday’s Week 9 AP Top 24 rankings. Clemson trailed by 11 points in the second half to the Orange, but was able to overcome four turnovers with a comeback win to take sole possession of first place in the ACC Atlantic. One of the most pivotal night games in Week 8 was unbeaten TCU’s home comeback over Kansas State. The Horned Frogs won their fourth straight game over a nationally-ranked team for the first time in program history.<\/p>\n

In the other notable prime-time games, South Carolina held off Texas A&M to record its fourth consecutive victory, which could vault the Gamecocks into Sunday’s new poll for the first time since the 2018 season.<\/p>\n
