EVGA supports RTX 40 series.

Two months ago, EVGA announced it will no longer make graphics cards. This means we will not see any GeForce RTX 40 card with EVGA brand, unless someone leaks their prototypes.

Turns out, even despite not taking part in RTX 40 launch, EVGA software engineers are still working on adding RTX 40 support. Here’s a reminder that EVGA Precision X1, the company’s overclocking, monitoring and configuration tool for GeForce RTX cards, actually does work with other vendor GPUs. Obviously, not all features will work, such as sensor data, fan control or LED synchronization, however it is based on the same NVIDIA API.

We can confirm that RTX 4090 is indeed supported by this version of X1. It supports GPU and memory frequency overclocking, overvoltage and thermal/power limit adjustment.

Those who need overclocking tools, there are certainly better options, such as MSI Afterburner or ASUS GPU Tweak (both support Radeon and GeForce cards). For EVGA RTX 30 owners, the good news is that the development for Precision X1 tool has not stopped with EVGA’s departure from the VGA business. The company made no promises on any future major updates, though.

Source: EVGA
