Nash noted that his last seizure a seizure last Tuesday:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The seizure caused the cardiac arrest. He was basically dead in his room on the floor with the EMT working on him. They got him back and got him in the ambulance and they tried to save his life. So to the people at Halifax hospital , doctors and nurses, I thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe both decided that we were going to stop drinking so it was a situation where you know we both went cold turkey.  I don&#8217;t think either of us felt great because you stop drinking coffee for a day and you get a headache.  I think we were both dealing with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\"\/>\n<p>On what made them decide to stop drinking:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He had a couple of incidents. We actually sat up here last Wednesday and in the course of the show, he drank four or five beers unbeknownst to me. I got pissed at him because he had a situation at the beginning of the year where he was hospitalized for almost 60 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sean Oliver said, \u201cSo you guys made the decision on Wednesday after the show (to stop drinking)?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nash: \u201cAfter the show, and a week later, he passes.  When you look back at things, it&#8217;s like, so he wasn&#8217;t feeling good.  So we were kind of, my wife and I were just kind of like waiting on him hand and foot.  We knew he was trying to do this.  One of the things that if you WebMD that, one of the things of cold turkey is that you have an increased risk of having a seizure.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<section class=\"m-in-content-recommendation m-detail--in-content-recommendation h-isolated-styles mm-component-stack--is-body-item\" style=\"--title_size_a_font_size:18;--title_size_b_font_size:18;--title_size_c_font_size:18;\">\n<p><span>Scroll to Continue<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>Nash talking about what the doctor told him when they rushed Tristen to the hospital and they tried to save him:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe said, &#8216;Your son&#8217;s not going to make it.&#8217;  I said, &#8216;I&#8217;m not going to pull his breathing tube out.  I won&#8217;t do that.  That&#8217;s not an option.  You&#8217;re saying that when he had the cardiac arrest, he did damage to his heart, so that&#8217;s why we ca n&#8217;t get his bottom number up.  The bottom ventricle had been damaged to some degree because he didn&#8217;t have the ability to push blood.  His top number was much higher and even though they medically brought the top number down, he was like 111 over 55. He stopped putting out urine.  There were so many things mounting.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<p>Nash later said, \u201cMy son was autistic.  My last had Asperger&#8217;s.  My son was very, very highly educated, very, very high IQ, but my son was autistic on top of all those things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nash said many people reached out to him to send him his condolences and said if he needed anything, they&#8217;re there for him.  He also mentioned that he hasn&#8217;t had the time to respond to everybody yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVince (Russo) and I talked on a direct Twitter message.  He was very, very kind.  That&#8217;s the whole thing.  I apologize if I haven&#8217;t got back to you.  When you open your phone and there are 234 messages, where do you start?  A lot of them are people who I&#8217;ve lost their numbers.  For instance, one said, Terry, Rhyno, he reached out and thank God he put at the bottom, &#8216;This is Terry, Rhyno.&#8217;  I got a message and it was a Connecticut number.  I thought it was somebody in the office.  I started to read it and it was Vince (McMahon).  It said, &#8216;This is my new number.  If you need me, I&#8217;m here\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<p>&#8220;One of the people I reached out to when Ric Flair sent me a message and was telling me he loved me and anything I could do. The thing is when you&#8217;re one of the boys, it&#8217;s not just lip service. Ric reached out to me and I said, &#8216;Can we talk?&#8217;  He said, &#8216;Sure.&#8217;  I went by the pool and I said, &#8216;How did you do it with Reid?&#8217;  We went over it.
