But Katy Perry’s fans were quick to joke that the usually well-oiled machine revealed a ‘glitch’ on Monday night after her eyelid appeared to get stuck during her Las residency.<\/p>\n

In footage which has been uploaded to TikTok, the singer, 38, could be seen struggling to open one of her eyes in the middle of the show, with many users quipping she has a ‘mechanical failure.’<\/p>\n

Dressed in her can-inspired silver leotard, Katy was in the middle of her Vegas show when one of her eyelids appeared to be stuck, leaving the star struggling to open her right eye.<\/p>\n

The Roar hitmaker briefly paused her performance being eventually being able to open her right eye again, and she then continued with her show.<\/p>\n

The moment, which was captured by a member of the audience who then uploaded it to social media, sparked flurry of comments from joking that Katy had some kind of technical glitch. <\/p>\n

One jokingly commented: ‘Clone failure. Next time make sure all software are updated and make necessary patches.’<\/p>\n

Another added: ‘She was downloading the song,’ while a third posted: ‘The robot had a glitch.’<\/p>\n

One fan went onto comment: ‘Mechanical failure, she even presses that button to keep it open.’<\/p>\n

But then one of Katy’s followers was quick to clarify: ‘Lol it’s her eyelash glue getting stuck to her bottom lid, happens to me all the time.’<\/p>\n

Katy explained: ‘We do a lot of mommy-and-me classes. This morning, I was with her at a ballet class, and this woman goes, ‘Oh my god, you look so much like Katy Perry.’<\/p>\n

‘And I was like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you. I care about my kid and take her to classes’, I’ve become a member at all the museums – we go to the zoo, the Natural History Museum, the kids’ museum. That’s my new club.<\/p>\n

‘People do recognize me, but by the time they’re like,’Is that\u2026? Was that\u2026?” I’m already gone.’<\/p>\n
