How can we go forward when those who ordered the murder are still unpunished, and continue to try to buy back their legitimacy?&#8221;  Cengiz said.  &#8220;We should not fall for their wealth and lies, and lose our morals and common humanity. We should all be insisting on the truth and justice; only then can we look forward with hope and dignity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cengiz&#8217;s statement was released by her lawyer, Rodney Dixon, the British newspaper reported. The group included individuals who worked for the crown prince&#8217;s office.  His remains of him have not been found.<\/p>\n<p>Western intelligence agencies and the US Congress said an operation of such magnitude could not have happened without the knowledge of the crown prince.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I haven&#8217;t had a personal conversation with MBS, I&#8217;ve never met the guy, but at the same time I do read that the Saudi government has made their statements and comments about it and they want to move forward,&#8221; Norman said .<\/p>\n<p>Australian golfer Karrie Webb, who as a young girl idolized Norman, took to Twitter to air her criticism.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The little girl in me just died well and truly !! Has anyones childhood hero disappointed them as much as I am now-&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Karrie_Webb\/status\/1524613535917285376\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Webb wrote on Thursday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Norman is the CEO of LIV Golf Investments, funded primarily by Saudi Arabia&#8217;s Public Investment Fund.<\/p>\n<p>The first LIV Golf Invitational is scheduled for June 9-11 at Centurion Golf Club outside London, with a 48-man field competing for a $ 20 million purse over 54 holes.  The winner gets $ 4 million &#8211; to date the richest prize in golf &#8211; and last place gets $ 120,000.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, a Turkish court confirmed a halt to the <span class=\"link\">trial in absentia of 26 suspects linked to Khashoggi&#8217;s murder<\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>A Turkish court began the trial in 2020 with relations tense between the two Sunni Muslim regional powers.  But with Turkey desperate for investment to help pull it out of economic crisis, Ankara has sought to heal the rift with Riyadh.<\/p>\n<p>Cengiz, who was present at the hearing, said that she would appeal the decision.<\/p>\n<p>Turkey &#8220;is not ruled by a family like in Saudi Arabia. We have a justice system that addresses citizens&#8217; grievances,&#8221; she told journalists outside Istanbul&#8217;s main court.  &#8220;We will appeal the decision in line with our legal system.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to AFP, she vowed to &#8220;continue to fight. Whoever gives up has given up. I will continue.
