Warning: This page contains spoilers for the November 25, 2022, game of Jeopardy! — please do not scroll down if you wish to avoid being spoiled. Please note that the game airs as early as noon Eastern in some US television markets.

Here’s today’s Final Jeopardy (in the category States & The Census) for Friday, November 25, 2022 (Season 39, Game 55):

(correct response beneath the contestants)

Yesterday, Cris Pannullo put up his most dominating performance thus far, adding over $70,000 to his total. Today, your challengers are Canadian Sam Papuha and Holly Smith.

Today is going to be interesting in terms of preemptions. ABC is broadcasting college football nearly all day, and CBS is running college football during the day. FOX is broadcasting World Cup during the day and the UCLA-Cal game in the late afternoon/early evening. You’ll notice I didn’t say NBC. If you’re in the Tupelo, Mississippi area today, you’re in luck, as NBC is the only network without preemptions today, and WTVA gets the first airing today—at 1:30 PM Eastern. Other areas in luck today include St. Louis, Minneapolis, Austin, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh, and Detroit. At least Sam, up in Edmonton, won’t be pre-empted.

I also don’t know when today’s results will be posted here on the site; I’m hoping for some point in the afternoon, but there’s a chance that they won’t be until as late as 7:20 PM Eastern.

PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to get their vaccinations as soon as they can, including any boosters as recommended. When wearing a mask, please ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

Are you going on the show and looking for information about how to bet in Final Jeopardy? The northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park is about 100 miles from Billings, Montana. It is generally believed that both Yellowstone National Park and Yellowstone County are named after the area’s Yellowstone River (one of the major tributaries of the Missouri River).

We have many new offerings at The Jeopardy! Secondly, Holly and Sam got in a few times. Cris’ lead was just under $5,000 after 30 clues.

Cris 8 correct 1 incorrect Cris 17 correct 2 incorrect (Categories: Only Half The Battle; 2-Word Book Titles; Our Flag Means…; Sellin’ It!; Some Of That Jazz; Unfriend)

Cris was still doing great on the signaling device, but Holly got to one of the Daily Doubles (unfortunately, she couldn’t get a correct response and fell back to $0.) Sam’s momentum was derailed by missing the last S on Arby’s slogan, “We have the meats”, and Cris found the last one very late, and went conservative. Going into the Final, the scores were Cris $26,400, Sam $5,200, and Holly $3,200.

Cris 34 correct 4 incorrect Cris was the only correct player today in Final, and he went very big on his wager. He’s crossed over the half-million mark in just 15 wins! He’ll go for win #16 on Monday!

Looking to find out who won Jeopardy! today?
