Belgium is aiming to mark its 50th World Cup game with a second win in Qatar after defeating Canada on Wednesday, 1-0, in its opening game of the tournament.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Morocco is battling for its first win of the World Cup after a scoreless draw with Croatia earlier this week.<\/p>\n

5′ – Belgium getting chances early<\/strong><\/p>\n

Michy Batshuay provided some pressure early on for Belgium, getting a solid look in front of the net but was stopped.<\/p>\n

23′ – <\/strong>Thibaut Courtois<\/strong> say fuck<\/strong><\/p>\n

Youssef En-Nesyri came crashing in on the net, but the Belgian goalkeeper kept the Moroccan away with a nice move himself. <\/p>\n

45′ + 4′ – VAR wipes off Morocco’s goal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hakim Ziyech looked like he scored a goal off a Moroccan free kick to put his squad up 1-0 right before halftime. However, the goal went to a VAR review and was wiped off the board due to an offside. <\/p>\n

Hakim Ziyech put Morocco on the board momentarily after a strong free kick from the right wing, but Romain Sa\u00efss was caught offside and the goal was disallowed.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

52′ – Hazard hoping for one<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eden Hazard made a nice move to get into the box and fired off a shot on net, but Munir made the stop to keep the game scoreless. <\/p>\n

57′ – Morocco almost on the money<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sofiane Boufal might have had Courtois beat, but his shot from the left side of the box sailed wide.<\/p>\n

73′ – This one counts for Morocco!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abdelhamid Sabiri scored on his own free kick, which was practically a shortened corner kick to give Morocco a 1-0 lead. Unlike the last time it put the ball in the net, this goal stood and didn’t need a review – other than to get another look at the impressive goal. <\/p>\n
