\tThe 32nd annual Gotham Awards have wrapped and big winners of the night were \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once,\u201d and \u201cT\u00e1r.\u201d The celebration marked the official start of awards season and is often strong indicator of films and series are poised for continued success.<\/p>\n

\n

\tThe event, which was hosted at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street, saw performer tributes to honor seasoned Hollywood veterans like Adam Sandler and Michelle Williams, as well as special distinctions given to \u201cThe Woman King\u201d director Gina Prince-Bythewood, Don Katz, Peter Kujawaski, Jason Cassidy and the cast of Hulu’s \u201cFire Island.\u201d <\/p>\n

\tSidney Poiter, known for roles in films like 1967’s \u201cIn the Heat of the Night\u201d and 1958’s \u201cThe Defiant Ones,\u201d was honored with the Icon Tribute award, having died earlier this year at 94-years-old. \u201cThe Harder They Fall\u201d actor Jonathan Majors, presented the award. <\/p>\n

\tContinuing upon recently-established precedent, the award show will offer gender neutral categories for the second consecutive year.<\/p>\n
