Adele has reacted to a video of a fan reportedly trying to woo her with his phone number during the third weekend of her Las Vegas residency on Sunday. <\/p>\n

The songstress, 34, cleared up the rumours during her performance as she insisted that the concert goer in question was actually ‘trying to sell her a car.’<\/p>\n

Despite explaining the funny exchange, she later joked that her boyfriend Rich Paul was ‘livid’.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a clip from the weekend, a man can be seen trying to pass Adele a note as she made her way through the crowd, with the singer giggling and handing it back.<\/p>\n

The following day during her show at Caesars Palace, she cleared up the gossip and explained: ‘Someone texted me something this morning saying that a guy tried to give me his number last night when I was walking through this way. <\/p>\n

‘He wasn’t, he was just trying to make me buy a car from him, [which] was actually what he was doing,’ she laughed, in the clip shared by concert goer Jorge Preciado. <\/p>\n

In another video posted to Twitter by fan page, Adelettes2, she proceeded to tell the audience about how her other half reacted when she told him what happened.<\/p>\n

‘I told my boyfriend, he was livid\u2026 He was like, “that man’s getting put to sleep”‘ she quipped. <\/p>\n

The star kicked off her Weekends with Adele residency last month \u2013 which runs from November 18 through March 25, 2023 – and comes after she postponed it in January at the last minute.<\/p>\n

It comes as Adele is reportedly refusing to cheer on England in the World Cup it’s been claimed, in a bid to save her vocal cords. <\/p>\n

According to The Sun, the singer, 34, is trying to ‘avoid excessive stress’ on her vocal cords and is resorting to ‘whispering’ when she’s not on stage in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

A source told the publication: ‘Usually she’d be screaming and shouting in support of the boys, but she is holding it in for the sake of her cords.’<\/p>\n

‘People know she is not being rude, but looking after herself. It is about staying healthy and strong.’ <\/p>\n
