Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers are storming ahead in the fan poll to decide the winner of the Player’s Voice category at The Game Awards 2022, dominating both Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok.

The Player’s Voice award is a 100% fan voted category unlike the other awards that are set to be doled out during Geoff Keighley’s yearly show, largely decided by a hand picked jury made up from influencers and members of the media.

In the weeks leading up to the live show, gamers get to vote for their favorite title of 2022, whittling the pool down to just five games for the third and final round of voting. This year’s finalists include Elden Ring, God of War: Ragnarok, Genshin Impact, Sonic Frontiers, and Stray.
