Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell took their Christmas tree decorations seriously this year. <\/p>\n

On Monday, Dax shared a short video with his 3.8M Instagram followers where he showed off the Grinch-inspired tree that his wife had decorated.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old Armchair Expert podcast host captioned the post, ‘Some people are playing on Xmas. Note @kristenanniebell. She’s here to kick a** and drink beer, and unfortunately for every Christmas competitors, she’s appears to be all out of beer.’<\/p>\n

The tree that scared him: Dax Shepard shared a short video showing off the Grinch-inspired tree that his wife Kristen Bell decorated<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Before showing off Kristin’s impressive creation, Dax spoke into the camera saying, ‘you may have heard about the Christmas tree that scared the sh** out of me. I thought it had destroyed Newtonian physics as I knew it.’<\/p>\n

He continued, ‘Some people are curious about what it looks like,’ before he turned the camera toward the tree and laughed saying, ‘that’s the Grinch! Look his hand is even popping out. <\/p>\n

‘But this is the thing that is quite disturbing was the droopy… the droop.’<\/p>\n

He displayed the curled over tree that appeared to have a life-sized grinch bending over and sticking his body through the middle with one arm coming out the backside of the tree. <\/p>\n

Bell has been married to Dax since 2013, and they share two daughters Lincoln, nine, and Delta, seven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three weeks ago, while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, Kristen hilariously explained why telling her daughters that she tried hallucinogenic mushrooms recently ‘backfired.’<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old Veronica Mars star revealed that her little girls tattled to their ‘more conservative’ grandmother saying, ‘I overheard my daughter talking to my mom, to [her] grandma, going, ‘I’m actually really glad they share all this stuff with me. Anyway, mom really wanted to try mushrooms.” <\/p>\n
