\n\tEverything Everywhere All at Once<\/em> leads the film nominations for the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards, which were announced on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

\n

\tThe film starring Michelle Yeoh earned 14 nominations, including best picture, best comedy, best actress for Yeoh, best supporting actor for Ke Huy Quan and best supporting actress nominations for Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert were nominated in the best director and best original screenplay categories as well. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Fabelmans <\/em>followed with eleven nominations, with Steven Spielberg receiving a best director nomination as well as a best original screenplay nod alongside Tony Kushner. Cast members Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, Judd Hirsch and Gabriel LaBelle were recognized with nominations as well. <\/p>\n

\n

\tDamien Chazelle’s Babylon<\/em> and Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inisherin<\/em> both scored nine nominations, while Elvis<\/em> and tar<\/em> collected even nodes each. Avatar: The Way of Water<\/em>, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery<\/em>, RRR<\/em>, Top Gun: Maverick<\/em> and Women Talking <\/em>round out the best picture category, which comes out to 11 nominees due to an exact tie. The Critics Choice Association also expanded the best director category to include ten nominees.<\/p>\n

\tThe Critics Choice Association previously announced that Abbott Elementary <\/em>scored the most TV ratings with six. Better Caul Saul <\/em>followed with five nodes, while gaslit<\/em>, Reservation Dogs <\/em>and The Good Fight<\/em> tied with four nominations each. <\/p>\n

\n

\tJeff Bridges will receive the Critics Choice Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s show, which will take place at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Jan. 15. Chelsea Handler is hosting this year.<\/p>\n
