Colorado<\/strong> graduate transfer offensive lineman Casey Roddick<\/b><\/b> committed to Florida State <\/b>on Sunday evening. Roddick spent Friday-to-Sunday on an official visit with the Seminoles.<\/p>\n

Roddick, who is listed as 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds on Colorado’s roster from last season, spoke with Noles247.com earlier on Sunday evening about the visit. He shared what stood out to him.<\/p>\n

“Great visit, what stood out was the direction in where the program is heading,” Roddick told Noles247 exclusively. “As well as the players surrounding the program.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He had an opportunity to speak with a few FSU players during the visit as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jordan Travis<\/b> and Maurice Smith<\/b>,” he said of which FSU players he spoke to on the visit. “Message was what you see is real. The people are real, the culture is anything unlike else. The support from teammates and coaches for one another is extremely important to the program.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The California native appeared in 42 games, with 30 starts, over his five-year career with the Buffaloes. That included playing both guard spots, as well as some right tackle. Roddick was the team captain at Colorado this season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roddick had also taken an official visit to NC State<\/strong>. During the process, other schools such as Baylor, Oklahoma, <\/strong>and more were mentioned as being involved.<\/p>\n

He is one of a handful of transfer offensive linemen to visit FSU over the past two weekends. Others include auburn<\/b> guard Keiondre Jones<\/b><\/b>, <\/span>UTEP<\/b> guard\/tackle Jeremiah Byers<\/b><\/b>and <\/span>Miami<\/b> tackle John Campbell<\/b><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
