Des Moines (Iowa) Southeast Polk five-star offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor tells 247Sports he’ll be signing with the school of his choice at 8:45 AM on Wednesday morning.

The 6-foot-7, 330-pound Proctor is currently committed to Iowa but is also considering Alabama and Oregon down the stretch.

“Just excited,” Proctor said. “This process I’ve been through, it’s been a long process and I’m ready to get out and do my thing and go to the league, that’s been my dream.”

Tabbed by the Top247 as the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 5 prospect overall, Proctor is fresh off a visit to Alabama this past weekend, his third time in Tuscaloosa.

“Just got a little more insight on it and had a little fun,” Proctor said before adding what stands out about the program.

“They don’t have too many offensive linemen. I think about four or five of them left. Just looking at the depth chart it’s really enticing.

“Just great coaches all the way in and out. Their program historically.”

Oregon got an official visit from Proctor during the fall and he also visited back in the summer.

“I love the coaching staff,” Proctor said. “I have great relationships with them. I had fun out there too.”

Proctor gave Iowa a verbal back in June.

“Obviously home, close to home, been multiple, multiple times,” he said. “I have love for them. You know what you’re getting out of it.”

Proctor will play in the All-American Bowl on Jan. 7. 247Sports National Analyst Allen Trieu compares his game to Donovan Smith.

“Has prototypical size and has short area burst and twitch at that size. Can run when asked to pull and make blocks in space. Has good strength and looks to finish blocks and plays with good general tenacity. He was not often challenged at the high school level though and often overwhelmed his opponents with pure size and strength. He still does not have any obvious big weak points, but continued technical development and then adjusting to college level competition will help ensure he reaches his upside. He has the physical ability to play very early and can be an All-American and early draft choice. ”
