During the recent Capcom TV stream, gameplay footage for Manon, Dee Jay, Marisa, JP, E. Honda, and Dhalsim were shown off for Street Fighter 6. The gameplay shown off here is the first time we’ve seen any of these characters in real matches as we’ve only previously seen them in trailers and demonstrations.

Xuses has already uploaded what was shown on stream on his YouTube channel. These matches aren’t particularly long as they only span on from being about two to three minutes.

One thing that’s clear about Dee Jay is that his Machinegun Upper special in Street Fighter 6 packs a huge punch. By simply hitting with a normal and then special canceling into his Machinegun Upper, Dee Jay is able to take out a huge chunk of Manon’s life bar.

Manon’s level 1 super has her quickly sliding forward. After seeing this level 1 super in action, it’s important to remember that the projectile invincibility property from level 1 supers were removed as of the latest Closed Beta. As such, this super should probably be reserved for punishes and combos only.

Although one of the players tried using JP, they weren’t able to get much mileage from his projectile attack. Based on how slowly the project behaved, there’s probably more to this attack than what’s being shown on stream.

As for Marisa, we get the opportunity to see a few of her hard hitting normals in action, though the player controlling her ends up spending a lot of time simply jumping around. Check it all out and more in the videos below:
