As the playoff race continues to intensify, so does the winter weather, and frigid cold temperatures and gusty winds have already proved to have a major impact on this Christmas Eve slate.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Eight of the early window&#8217;s 11 games had kickoff temperatures below freezing \u2014 many in the single digits \u2014 and two of the remaining three games have evening temperatures near or well below freezing, per FOX Sports Research and <u>FOX Weather<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Here are the top plays from Saturday&#8217;s slate!<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Action right out of the gate!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Josh Sweat came up with a huge interception, picking off Dak Prescott and taking it 42 yards to the house to put Philly up 10-0 early.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>&#8216;Boys bounce back<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Then, the Cowboys closed the gap slightly, 10-7, courtesy of a short scamper from Ezekiel Elliott.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Have to see it to believe it<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Gardner Minshew&#8217;s pass to Quez Watkins was sneakily intercepted by Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse, giving Dallas the ball back quickly.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>In with the spin!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">The turnover and subsequent busted coverage on the corner route by the Eagles defense allowed Dallas to take its first lead of the game, 14-10, early in the second quarter after CeeDee Lamb reeled in a 36-yard touchdown from Prescott.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Back-and-forth battle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">The Eagles were back in the lead, 17-14, after Minshew took it in himself midway through the second quarter.  Both teams traded off field goals ahead of the break to keep it a three-point game, 20-17, with Philly in the lead.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>back in business<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">The Eagles started to pull away in the third quarter, after a wide-open DeVonta Smith touchdown made it a 10-point game, 27-17, early in the frame.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Not so fast!<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Dallas had other plans, however.  A field goal and a Michael Gallup touchdown knotted things up once again headed into the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Going, going, gone!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">It was the 49ers that got on the board first, as Ray-Ray McCloud III took off 71 yards for the score.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Up for grabs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Brock Purdy was picked off on San Francisco&#8217;s own side of the field after Jauan Jennings bobbled the ball and it landed in the hands of Commanders safety Darrick Forrest.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>How&#8217;d he catch that?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">The turnover led to a Washington score, as rookie Jahan Dotson reeled one in to knot things up headed into halftime.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>no doubt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">The Niners kicked off the second-half scoring with a massive 34-yard touchdown from George Kittle.
