Fans have fallen in love with the romantic storyline between Daniel Craig<\/strong> and Hugh Grant<\/strong>‘s characters in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. <\/em><\/p>\n

Following its brief theatrical release last month, the Netflix movie officially released to the streamer on Friday, Dec. 23, and fans wasted no time pressing play. <\/p>\n

The sequel to the hit Knives Out<\/em>Glass Onion<\/em> follows Detective Benoit Blanc (Craig) as he travels to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of technology-pioneering suspects. But it’s not the all-star cast or Ryan Johnson<\/strong>‘s new whodunit mystery that has fans talking\u2013it’s the cameo made by none other than the Love Actually<\/em> star, Grant. <\/p>\n

Spoiler alert! In the film, Grant and Craig are living together as lovers\u2013a detail that audiences can’t help but celebrate and, in some cases, demand more of. <\/p>\n

“watching daniel craig and hugh grant play domestic partners in a movie was not on my this year’s bingo card but i’ll happily take it #knivesout,” one Twitter user wrote alongside a series of screenshots of the actors on-screen. <\/p>\n

A different fan described her reaction to the discovery of Detective Blanc’s boyfriend, who remained anonymous for most of the film, writing, “The way I screamed when Hugh Grant opened that door.”<\/p>\n

“now i need a romcom of hugh grant and daniel craig falling in love (and solving a murder together),” another quipped. <\/p>\n

Someone else joked, “Glass Onion spoilers \/\/ Hugh grant and daniel craig being on screen lovers is the realest thing rian Johnson has ever done.”<\/p>\n

But the mere fact that a director had previously confirmed Detective Blanc’s sexuality combined with Grant’s cameo weren’t enough for some fans who wanted to see more of the romance between the two characters, hoping it makes the cut<\/em> for the franchise’s third installment. <\/p>\n
