another week, another Candace Cameron Bure controversy.

This time, the internet is stirring up a drama of decades past. Three of them, in fact.

Video clips from a news report about a March of 1992 meet and greet at the Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, that ended in disappointment for countless full house fans are going viral on TikTok thanks to one journalist.

The archival footage was shared by CTV reporter Nick Moorewho has been posting clips from the station’s 50th-anniversary segments in a TikTok series he’s dubbed 50 Days of ATV (the former name of the Canadian channel).

Most of the posts he’s made so far have netted a few handfuls of likes and comments each, but “The Candace Cameron Mall Riot of 1992,” as he labeled it, has raked in over 20,000 likes and almost a thousand comments in the last week .

The story contains interviews with the devastated children and their parents, as well as footage of Cameron Bure telling the bustling crowd that she needs to leave. To the actress ‘credit, she had a flight to catch and, apparently, the response to her visit was significantly greater than anyone involved in the planning had anticipated, but it did n’t stop her dedicated fans from breaking down in tears.

The first young girl interviewed was so distraught it’s difficult to decipher what she’s saying, but as one fan pointed out in the comments, it sounds like, “I’ve been here since 10:30 and I and I never got to see her and I’m so mad.”

One frustrated dad is heard saying he’s been waiting for six hours and won’t be waiting much longer, just before Cameron Bure announces to the crowd she has to go. Some fans towards the front of the line seem to stumble in disappointment, and “No!” can be heard throughout the crowd.
