And one of those games is the Gator Bowl between South Carolina and Notre Dame, a pair of top 25 programs entering bowl season and two of the teams playing their best football right now.<\/p>\n<p>The Gamecocks (8-4) beat two top 10 teams to close the season, including SEC East rival Tennessee and in-state rival Clemson.  The Fighting Irish (8-4) won five of their last six games after a bit of a slow start to the year under first-year head coach <b>Marcus Freeman<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breiner&#8217;s pregame movie breakdown |  Gamecocks pack Blessings in a Backpack<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to our final picks between South Carolina and Notre Dame, we&#8217;ll take a look at some of the top bowl games in the next couple of days.  Here&#8217;s how we think many of the games will play out.  Stay tuned on December 31 for another round of picks!<\/p>\n<p>The Gamecocks (8-4) will be back in action on Friday, Dec.  30, when they travel to Jacksonville, Fla.  to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-4) in the 78th edition of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.
