South Carolina, Stanford, Iowa and UConn all have multiple players on the Wooden Award midseason top 25 list for the 2022-23 women’s college basketball season.

The Gamecocks’ Aliyah Boston, last season’s Wooden winner, headlined the midseason list, which was announced Wednesday. She and teammate Zia Cooke (also on the midseason list) led the No. 1 Gamecocks to the national championship last season and to a 14-0 record this year.

Four sophomores — UConn’s Azzi Fudd, Notre Dame’s Olivia Miles, LSU’s Angel Reese and DePaul’s Aneesah Morrow — were also included, as was Iowa junior Caitlin Clark.
