While the Browns’ 2022 season ends today, the Steelers are hoping to extend their season by beating Cleveland and getting some help from two teams that beat them earlier this year. The Steelers are 30 minutes away from doing their part, as they took a 10-7 half-time lead over the Browns.

The Browns took the lead when Deshaun Watson hit David Njoku for a 10-yard score. Pittsburgh, who squandered an early scoring chance when Najee Harris fumbled at the goal line, tied things up on Kenny Pickett’s 31-yard strike to George Pickens on the Steelers’ ensuing drive. The Steelers took the lead moments later when Levi Wallace’s pick of Watson set up a 49-yard field goal by Chris Boswell.

Pittsburgh (8-8) can capture the AFC’s seventh and final playoff seed if they defeat Cleveland, the Bills defeat the visiting Patriots and the Jets beat the Dolphins in Miami. The Steelers made the playoffs as the seventh seed last season after beating Baltimore in Week 18 and the Raiders defeating the Chargers in overtime.
