The Detroit Lions aren’t going to the playoffs despite their thrilling 20-16 win on Sunday night at Lambeau Field. But the Green Bay Packers aren’t going, either.

That alone is providing enough satisfaction for the Lions and their fan base as the team finished 9-8, their first winning season since 2017, with eight wins in their final 10 games.

And along the way, the Lions’ social media team kept receipts.

You may recall that back in early November, when the Lions beat the Packers 15-9 at Ford Field to improve to 2-6, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said this: “We can’t lose a game like that against that team.”

That team? that team?!

Well, Lions players aren’t the only ones who didn’t forget that. Shortly after the Lions completed the season sweep of Green Bay, the team posted this incredible mash-up video, skewering Rodgers and the Packers for the things they’ve said this year and in past years, mostly about the Lions, even the subtlest of slights.

Enjoy. It’s petty in the best of ways.
