Mark Wahlberg’s wife Rhea Durham revealed on Instagram this week that she has dropped their elder daughter off at college.<\/p>\n

Rhea posted an Instagram snap of herself on a plane, her eyes swimming with tears after leaving Ella, 19, at what Page Six reports South Carolina’s Clemson University. <\/p>\n

‘On my way home from my first college drop off,’ Rhea wrote without mentioning whether Mark was with her. ‘The emotions are running wild.’<\/p>\n

Mark does appear to have a fair amount of confidence in his daughter’s teenage decisions as he is openly fond of her beau James. <\/p>\n

Nearly a year ago, Mark posted a loved-up Instagram snap of Ella and James together to mark their first anniversary as an item.<\/p>\n

‘Happy 1 year anniversary Ella and James,’ he wrote. ‘I’m so happy for you guys! I couldn’t be more proud of you Ella!! I love you guys.’<\/p>\n

He and Rhea have been happily married since 2009 and just last month were seen enjoying a sun-drenched trip to Barbados together. <\/p>\n

Just weeks ago Mark saw the release of a new bowdlerized version of his movie Father Stu, a biopic of the real-life priest Stuart Long.<\/p>\n

The original R-rated version came out in April during Holy Week but this month ahead of Christmas a PG-13 edition called Father Stu: Reborn bowed in theaters. <\/p>\n

Stu is a biopic of the late Father Stuart Long who started off his career as a boxer and eventually became a priest.<\/p>\n

The clergyman’s father is played by Mel Gibson, whose girlfriend Rosalind Ross both wrote the screenplay and directed the picture. <\/p>\n

Mark, who himself has been a devout Catholic for years, previously played a boxer a decade ago in the acclaimed movie The Fighter. <\/p>\n
