{"id":19421,"date":"2022-07-19T19:24:50","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T19:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/oleksandr-zinchenko-leaves-manchester-city-pre-season-camp-for-medical-with-arsenal\/"},"modified":"2022-07-19T19:24:50","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T19:24:50","slug":"oleksandr-zinchenko-leaves-manchester-city-pre-season-camp-for-medical-with-arsenal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/oleksandr-zinchenko-leaves-manchester-city-pre-season-camp-for-medical-with-arsenal\/","title":{"rendered":"Oleksandr Zinchenko leaves Manchester City pre-season camp for medical with Arsenal"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"newsLede\">\n<p>Oleksandr Zinchenko has left Manchester City&#8217;s pre-season camp and is traveling to Orlando to undergo a medical as he closes in on a move to Arsenal.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Athletic <\/em>reported on Monday that Arsenal were in the process of finalising a move for Zinchenko after reaching an agreement in principle with the 25-year-old on a four-year contract.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal&#8217;s offer is believed to be worth an initial \u00a330million, along with an additional \u00a32million in achievable add-ons ($36million total).<\/p>\n<p>It is understood that Zinchenko has now departed City&#8217;s training camp in Houston, Texas and is due in Orlando, Florida where he will undergo a medical.  Arsenal sporting director Edu is also scheduled to arrive in Orlando today to help finalise the deal.<\/p>\n<p>He is poised to become Arsenal&#8217;s fifth signing of the summer after the arrivals of Marquinhos, Matt Turner, Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Although he tends to operate in midfield for his country, Zinchenko has mainly been used by Guardiola at left-back.  While that is a specific area of \u200b\u200bthe pitch where Arsenal have been looking to strengthen, his versatility is certain to appeal.<\/p>\n<p>Zinchenko has enjoyed huge success at City, winning the Premier League and Carabao Cup four times apiece.
