San Diego Comic-Con is back in 2022 for its first live show since 2019 and it looks to feature some big reveals for the biggest films, TV shows, and studios, including Marvel, DC, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power , House of the Dragon, Star Trek, and so many more.<\/p>\n

SDCC will take place from July 21-24 and IGN’s live show will take place on July 22 and 23. We’ll be speaking to the cast and creators of many of the shows and films you can’t wait to watch and providing up- to-the-minute breakdowns of all the show’s best moments. <\/p>\n

There is going to be so much packed into this one weekend, and we’re here to help by highlighting 10 of the biggest panels at the show. Inside Severance<\/h2>\n

Thursday, July 21, 3:30pm-4:30pm PT, Ballroom 20<\/em><\/p>\n

Apple TV+’s Severance is one of the breakout hits of 2022 after it told a gripping and fascinating story of a world where science has found a way to literally separate your work and personal life. For SDCC, executive producer and director Ben Stiller, creator and executive producer Dan Erickson, and cast members Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Dichen Lachman, and Jen Tullock will look back at Severance’s first season<\/u> and share \u201cinnie secrets\u201d from the set. The series has also been renewed for a second season, so will we learn more about what it has in store for us? We won’t have to wait too long to find out.<\/p>\n

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/h2>\n

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is one of the most-anticipated shows in quite some time, and its panel at SDCC will undoubtedly be one of the biggest as well. Prime Video has shared that fans will get an \u201cexclusive early look\u201d ahead of its September 2 release date at the panel. Fans will also get to see cast members Morfydd Clark, Charles Edwards, Rob Aramayo, Benjamin Walker, Ismael Cruz C\u00f3rdova, Charlie Vickers, Nazanin Boniadi, Tyroe Muhafidin, Daniel Weyman, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Trystan Gravelle, Maxim Baldry, Ema Horvath, Lloyd Owen, Leon Wadham, Markella Kavenagh, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Sara Zwangobani, Sophia Nomvete, and Owain Arthur alongside showrunners JD Payne, Patrick McKay, and EP <\/strong>Lindsey Weber. The Second Age<\/u> is nearly here, and this panel will be one of the big final steps before we are welcomed back into the world of Middle-earth.<\/p>\n

Marvel Studios: Animation<\/h2>\n

Marvel is back at San Diego Comic-Con for the first time since 2019 and it’s kicking things off with a panel focused exclusively on its animation projects. Marvel Studios head of streaming, television, and animation Brad Winderbaum, head of visual development Ryan Meinerding, and unannounced special guests will be sharing exclusive looks at X-Men 97, Marvel Zombies, What If\u2026? Season 2, and more. <\/p>\n

The Alternate World of For All Mankind<\/h2>\n

Apple TV+’s For All Mankind is in the middle of its third season and San Diego Comic-Con will feature a panel with creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi, executive producer Maril Davis, and cast members Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten , Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Pe\u00f1a, Wrenn Schmidt, and Edi Gathegi. <\/p>\n

Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR: The Immortal Saga Continues<\/h2>\n

BRZRKR is Keanu Reeves’ comic book writing debut and he will be part of a panel at SDCC alongside series co-writer Matt Kindt, artist Ron Garney, screenwriter on the BRZRKR film Mattson Tomlin, BOOM! Studios editor-in-chief Matt Gagnon, BOOM! Studios executive editor Eric Harburn, and BOOM! Studios president of development Stephen Christy. Reel Rejects’ Coy Jandreau will be moderating the panel that will give an exclusive look at the final issues of the series and a tease of what’s to come for the half-mortal, half-god warrior that battles through the ages to discover the truth behind his \u201cendless blood-soaked existence\u2026 and how to end it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. theatrical<\/h2>\n

Saturday, July 23, 10:15am-11:15am, Hall H<\/em><\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Pictures will once again descend upon San Diego Comic-Con with a glimpse of the future of the DCEU. While Warner Bros. isn’t ready to reveal every detail about the panel, it has shared that the show will be headlined by Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. To help make this a show to remember, Dwayne Johnson and Zachary Levi will be present to share why the \u201chierarchy of power in the DC Universe will change.\u201d<\/u><\/a> <\/p>\n

We may also get another glimpse of DC League of Super Pets as it will be released in theaters on July 29, and many will surely be waiting for new details on The Flash, especially after the legal troubles surrounding its star Ezra Miller<\/u>and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.<\/p>\n

House of the Dragon<\/h2>\n

House of the Dragon<\/u>n is coming\u2026 to San Diego Comic-Con! Ahead of its premiere on August 21 on HBO, House of the Dragon will have a panel that will reveal more about our return to Westeros 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. The panel will feature co-creator\/executive producer George RR Martin, co-creator\/co-showrunner\/executive producer\/writer Ryan Condal, co-showrunner\/executive producer\/director Miguel Sapochnik, and Paddy Considine (King Viserys Targaryen), Matt Smith (Prince Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Emma D’Arcy (Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon), Eve Best (Princess Rhaenys Targaryen), Fabien Frankel (Ser Criston Cole), Graham McTavish (Ser Harrold Westerling), Milly Alcock (Young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen), and Emily Carey (Young Alicent Hightower).<\/p>\n

Star Trek Universe Panel<\/h2>\n

The Star Trek Universe is ever-expanding and San Diego Comic-Con will give fans not only a look back at everything that has come before, but also a tease at what’s to come. The cast and executive producers of Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be on hand to discuss their show’s latest seasons and discuss what the future holds for our beloved space-faring friends. There is also a promise of a \u201cfew reveals and surprises,\u201d so this is one trip to the stars you won’t want to miss.<\/p>\n

The Sandman Special Video Presentation and Q&A<\/h2>\n

Saturday, July 23, 2:30pm-3:30pm, Hall H<\/em><\/p>\n

The live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s DC comic series The Sandman will be released on Netflix on August 5, and SDCC will provide fans will a special video presentation and a Q&A with the stars and producers of the shows. As with many of these panels, there will also be \u201cComic-Con exclusives and surprises\u201d in store for those present and watching at home.<\/p>\n

Marvel Studios<\/h2>\n

Saturday, July 23, 5:00pm-6:00pm, Hall H<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What very well may be the biggest panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 is the one we know perhaps the least about. Marvel Studios will assemble at Hall H as its president and producer Kevin Feige and provide special guests \u201can inside look at the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.\u201d Despite us not being told what will be at the show, we still have a pretty good idea at what’s coming in the months and years ahead in the MCU.<\/u><\/p>\n

Now that Thor: Love and Thunder is out of the way, we will soon be treated to the \u201cI Am Groot\u201d shorts and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. As we get closer to the end of 2022, we will be treated to the reported Untitled Halloween Special, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. In 2023, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (and the return of Jonathon Majors’ Kang!) will kick off the year in February before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 and The Marvels arrive a few months after. <\/p>\n

These previously mentioned projects are only the ones we have specific dates for and don’t include Secret Invasion, Blade, Fantastic Four, Loki’s second season, and so many more.<\/p>\n

Will this panel reveal a bit more about the big Thanos-level threat or overarching story Phase 4 has been leading us towards?<\/u> We’ll find out this weekend!<\/p>\n
