Mr. Bridges will be held accountable for his actions and our Bureau of Victim Services will support the survivors through this difficult process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CNN has reached out to Bridges&#8217; representation for comment.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Hornets said the team is aware of the charges. <\/p>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" data-paragraph-id=\"paragraph_7E970755-8F34-4812-4403-1A25B1475954\">&#8220;These are very serious charges that we will continue to monitor. As this is a legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time,&#8221; the team said in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HornetsPR\/status\/1549588133372743681\" target=\"_blank\">statement<\/a> posted on Twitter. <\/div>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" data-paragraph-id=\"paragraph_0A1FC04B-A157-A8DA-A89D-1A239DD526DC\">Bridges was initially arrested and charged with a felony on June 29 and was released on a $130,000 bail.<\/div>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph\" data-paragraph-id=\"paragraph_F61037A3-F931-D010-D1FD-1A239DDC8B5F\">Two days later, Bridges&#8217; partner, Mychelle Johnson, posted photos on Instagram showing injuries to her face.  The photos have since been deleted.<\/div>\n<div class=\"el__embedded el__embedded--standard\">\n<div class=\"el__storyelement--standard el__article--embed\">\n<div class=\"el__article--teaseimage\"><noscript><img alt=\"Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges arrested and charged with felony in Los Angeles\" class=\"media__image\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cdn.cnn.com\/cnnnext\/dam\/assets\/220630131052-miles-bridges-charlotte-hornets-file-large-169.jpg?ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Johnson also posted what appeared to be a discharge document from a hospital emergency department, describing her as an &#8220;adult victim of physical abuse by male partner&#8221; and &#8220;assault by strangulation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to the document, her diagnosed injuries included a closed fracture of her nasal bone, a rib contusion, multiple bruises and a neck muscle strain.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I hate that it has come to this but I can&#8217;t be silent anymore.
