{"id":21025,"date":"2022-07-21T07:31:01","date_gmt":"2022-07-21T07:31:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/wwe-confirms-when-tv-14-programming-will-return\/"},"modified":"2022-07-21T07:31:01","modified_gmt":"2022-07-21T07:31:01","slug":"wwe-confirms-when-tv-14-programming-will-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/wwe-confirms-when-tv-14-programming-will-return\/","title":{"rendered":"WWE Confirms When TV-14 Programming Will Return"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Next Saturday, WWE will host their annual Summerslam Premium Live Event, marking the first time the show has happened outside of the month of August. <\/p>\n<p>The show will be headlined by a Last Man Standing match between Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, in what WWE is billing as their final match. <\/p>\n<p>Both Raw and SmackDown Women&#8217;s Titles will also be defended, as well as Logan Paul&#8217;s singles debut when he faces The Miz. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-the-rating\">The Rating<\/h2>\n<p>A lot has been said about WWE ratings over the past week, ever since it was reported that there are plans in place for Monday Night Raw to become a TV-14 show. <\/p>\n<p>While that hasn&#8217;t happened yet, the Peacock streaming app lists next weekend&#8217;s Summerslam premium live event carrying a TV-14 rating.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"528\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.sescoops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/image-1200x528.png?resize=1200%2C528&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"WWE Confirms When TV-14 Programming Will Return\" class=\"wp-image-255476\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"h-tv-14\">TV-14<\/h2>\n<p>The impending TV-14 rating has excited WWE fans, who believe the show will push the envelope, but the change did not come from WWE. <\/p>\n<p>The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the decision for Raw to change came from WWE&#8217;s broadcast partners at the USA Network. <\/p>\n<p>The belief is that the new rating will not see the return of blading, as WWE is against blood except in exceptionally rare circumstances. <\/p>\n<p>It is believed that the rating will allow for more profanity on Monday Night Raw but little else will be changed. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script type=\"rocketlazyloadscript\">\n!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s)\n{if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?\nn.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};\nif(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';\nn.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;\nt.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];\ns.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window, document,'script',\n'https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/fbevents.js');\nfbq('init', '368632824816601');\nfbq('track', 'PageView');\n<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next Saturday, WWE will host their annual Summerslam Premium Live Event, marking the first time the show has happened outside of the month of August.
