Those 135,000 folks flying into San Diego from various countries to line up for hours to see their fave stars at Comic-Con might be greatly upset to learn that not all panels are live and in-person.<\/p>\n
The crowds are real, but some panelists are being beamed in via satellite.<\/p>\n
Deadline has learned that today’s panels for ABC’s The Rookie <\/em>and Abbott Elementary <\/em>will have moderators in-person but with their casts beamed in via satellite. The actors reportedly are unable to make it to SDCC because their series are in production.<\/p>\n ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel ‘House Of The Dragon’ Snags Key Comic-Con Position In Marketing War; Street Battle For Eyeballs Back With ‘LOTR’ Series, ‘TWD,’ ‘Star Trek’ & More<\/p>\n at the Rookie\/Rookie: Feds<\/em> panel, TV Guide<\/em>‘s Damian Holbrook is onstage at Ballroom 20, but on screen is Comic-Con denizen, firefly <\/em>alum and Rookie <\/em>star Nathan Fillion and feds <\/em>star Niecy Nash-Betts, as well as EPs Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter.<\/p>\n
