{"id":23674,"date":"2022-07-23T22:37:04","date_gmt":"2022-07-23T22:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/martha-stewarts-pet-peacocks-eaten-by-coyotes\/"},"modified":"2022-07-23T22:37:04","modified_gmt":"2022-07-23T22:37:04","slug":"martha-stewarts-pet-peacocks-eaten-by-coyotes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/martha-stewarts-pet-peacocks-eaten-by-coyotes\/","title":{"rendered":"Martha Stewart&#8217;s pet peacocks eaten by coyotes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Martha Stewart mourned the loss of six peacocks savagely killed by a marauding group of coyotes that has been hanging around her Connecticut compound, the TV personality and businesswoman said Saturday in a sad social media post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRIP beautiful BlueBoy,\u201d Stewart wrote on Instagram.  \u201cThe coyotes came in broad daylight and devoured him and five others, including the magnificent White Boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Connecticut&#8217;s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection warns that coyotes are common throughout the state, and advises homeowners to be wary of attacks, listing several \u201cTips on Preventing Conflicts with Coyotes\u201d on its website that include never allowing pets to run free, especially at night . <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption>Stewart has been long known to own a number of peacocks and other animals on her property.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@marthastewart48<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAny solutions for getting rid of six large and aggressive coyotes who have expensive tastes when it comes to poultry?\u201d  Stewart posted.  \u201cWe are no longer allowing the peafowl out of their yard.
