There&#8217;s an opening with <strong>Nerlens Noel<\/strong> headed to the Pistons in a salary dump trade.<\/p>\n<p>New York has expressed interest in several free agent centers, sources tell Begley.  He adds that the team plans to convert two-way player <strong>Jericho Sims<\/strong> to a standard contract and may re-sign <strong>Taj Gibson<\/strong> if he&#8217;s needed for depth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isaiah Hartenstein<\/strong> could be under consideration, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JakeLFischer\/status\/1542492923786321925\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">tweets<\/a> Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, although several teams have interest in the Clippers center.  The Knicks will aggressively pursue Hartenstein, Begley adds in a separate story, and may have interest in <strong>Andr\u00e9 Drummond<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s more from the Atlantic Division:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fischer cites \u201cmutual interest\u201d in an extension agreement between the <strong>knicks<\/strong> and <strong>RJ Barrett<\/strong> (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JCMacriNBA\/status\/1542367326472994818\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">twitter link<\/a> from Jonathan Macri of Knicks Film School).  The 22-year-old swingman was the team&#8217;s second-leading scorer this season at 20.0 points per game.<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>sixers<\/strong> haven&#8217;t given up efforts to trade <strong>Tobias Harris<\/strong>according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_talkin_nba\/status\/1542479790913032192\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">twitter link<\/a> from Talkin&#8217; NBA).  Windhorst expects the team to shake up its roster to find players who fit better alongside <strong>Joel Embiid<\/strong> and <strong>James Harden<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Raptors<\/strong> could have interest in <span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"><strong>Donte DiVincenzo<\/strong>who is unrestricted after not receiving a qualifying offer from the Kings, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/michaelgrange\/status\/1542492425188425728\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">tweets<\/a> Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca.
