{"id":23897,"date":"2022-07-24T06:51:44","date_gmt":"2022-07-24T06:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/daredevil-revival-series-officially-ordered-at-disney-plus\/"},"modified":"2022-07-24T06:51:44","modified_gmt":"2022-07-24T06:51:44","slug":"daredevil-revival-series-officially-ordered-at-disney-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/daredevil-revival-series-officially-ordered-at-disney-plus\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Daredevil&#8217; Revival Series Officially Ordered at Disney Plus"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"post-1234854519\">\n<p>\t<!-- .entry-header --><\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"articlebody\" class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Matt Murdock is finally and officially making his long-awaited return to the small screen, this time fighting crime on Disney+.<span id=\"more-1234854519\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>Daredevil: Born Again<\/em> was announced by Kevin Feige during Marvel&#8217;s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday evening, and the 18-episode season is set to bow on the streamer in Spring 2024 \u2014 as part of the newly detailed Phase 5 of the MCU.<\/p>\n<p>Both Charlie Cox and on-screen adversary Vincent D&#8217;Onofrio are set to reprise their roles from the Netflix series (and subsequent encores).<\/p>\n<p>Cox of course first portrayed the title character on Netflix for three seasons, between 2015-2018, for a total of 39 episodes.  He also appeared in eight episodes of the crossover event series <em>The Defenders<\/em>.  His blind superhero then made his way back to the MCU in last year&#8217;s <em>Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em>in which he had a surprise cameo role.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;Onofrio in turn reprized Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin in multiple episodes of Disney+&#8217;s <em>hawkeye<\/em> series.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since his <em>No Way Home<\/em> cameo, rumors have swirled that Disney+ would bring back Cox as The Man Without Fear.
