This is set to change as both Kris &#8216;FaZe Swagg&#8217; Lamberson and Nicholas &#8216;NICKMERCS&#8217; Kolcheff claim that the weapon is back to its best.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><amp-jwplayer data-player-id=\"SFdHELoN\" data-media-id=\"wweB7LXE\" data-content-search=\"__CONTEXTUAL__\" layout=\"responsive\" width=\"16\" height=\"9\"><br \/>\n<\/amp-jwplayer><\/p>\n<p>Warzone players have been asking for major buffs to hit Modern Warfare weapons for months and they got their wish with the Season 4 Reloaded update.  Several Modern Warfare weapons including the beloved Kilo received buffs to increase their viability. <\/p>\n<p>After testing out the new and improved Kilo, top players FaZe Swagg and NICKMERCS have deemed that it is once again a meta Assault Rifle in Warzone.<\/p>\n<p>The Kilo&#8217;s biggest weakness was its damage drop-off and the Season 4 Reloaded weapon balancing changes alleviated this issue by increasing the weapon&#8217;s minimum damage, all while removing its medium damage drop-off. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<noscript><\/p>\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container\" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u201cTHE BUFFED KILO IS META AGAIN!\u201d (Warzone Season 4)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C_5KQCmsjNk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><\/noscript>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Although a NICKMERCS video revealed that \u201cThe Buffed Kilo is meta again,\u201d the streamer explained that the Kilo is still outclassed by the NZ-41 on a map like Caldera: \u201cwhen you run into an NZ you&#8217;re going to get f* ****.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in a video highlighting the Kilo changes, Swagg explains that with the mid-range damage drop-off removed, the weapon can return to former glory: \u201cIt&#8217;s really good up close and medium-range as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Warzone players were ecstatic to see these major changes improve the Kilo&#8217;s viability, many were wary of its continued damage drop-off at long range.  This ties into Swagg&#8217;s comments about the weapon being excellent up close and at medium-range, but not so much at long-range.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"\/>\n<p>The comments in the above Reddit post completely agree with Swagg in that the Kilo is now the perfect Assault Rifle for Warzone&#8217;s small maps like Rebirth Island and Fortune&#8217;s Keep. <\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, its significant damage drop-off at long-range will prevent the Kilo from being a top Assault Rifle when it comes to Caldera gameplay. <\/p>\n<p>As one player puts it, understanding what makes the Kilo viable is the key to best utilizing the weapon: \u201cWas using Kilo all night last night on rebirth.  It was shredding!  Granted, on the big map, and past its damage drop-off, it would be atrocious.
