In an unfortunate and tragic news, the popular singer passed just moments after performing live in Kolkata.  Krishnakumar Kunnath, lovingly known as KK by his fans of him, reportedly fell sick after his performance of him at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.  He was reportedly rushed to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead.  He was 53. The man with the golden voice won hearts with his songs like Pal, Khuda Jaane, Tadap, Tadap, Dil Ibaadat among others.  Fans, and the entire country is undoubtedly saddened by this tragic news. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"font-sizex: 10.5755px;\">Singer KK dies at 53<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-sizex: 10.5755px;\">KK&#8217;s first album Pal came out in 1999. After two decades, the song still remains an all-time favorite among music lovers in the country.  He soon sang for several films, and delivered chartbusting numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-sizex: 10.5755px;\">In recent times the singer would regularly share updates about his live performances and gigs on his social media space.  In fact, just earlier today, eight hours ago to be precise, he put up an update about his concert di lei in Kolkata. <strong>KK<\/strong> was performing live at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.  Fans put up videos on social media showcasing the singer performing.  In one such video, he could be seen performing Pal just a few moments before falling ill.  After his performance by him, KK reportedly went to his hotel by him where he fell ill and was then rushed to a private hospital.  The singer was &#8220;brought dead&#8221; to Kolkata&#8217;s CMRI Hospital around 10 pm, hospital authorities told India Today TV.  He is survived by a wife and children. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"font-sizex: 10.5755px;\">Fans and Celebs express grief on KK&#8217;s demise<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-sizex: 10.5755px;\">Social media is in shock following his tragic and untimely demise.  Fans, singers, and celebrities are expressing their grief on Twitter and Instagram. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-sizex: 10.5755px;\"><strong>Prime Minister Modi <\/strong>also took to the micro blogging site a few moments back and extended his condolences as he wrote, \u201cSaddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK.  His songs by lui reflected a wide range of emotions as lui struck a chord with people of all age groups.  We will always remember him through his songs by him.  Condolences to his family and fans of him.
