{"id":31239,"date":"2022-07-31T14:24:43","date_gmt":"2022-07-31T14:24:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/watch-billie-eilish-play-intimate-acoustic-set-at-record-store\/"},"modified":"2022-07-31T14:24:43","modified_gmt":"2022-07-31T14:24:43","slug":"watch-billie-eilish-play-intimate-acoustic-set-at-record-store","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/watch-billie-eilish-play-intimate-acoustic-set-at-record-store\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch Billie Eilish play intimate acoustic set at record store"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Billie Eilish played an intimate acoustic set at a record store in the US \u2013 check out the moment below.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish marked the one-year anniversary of the release of &#8216;Happier Than Ever&#8217; with a surprise performance at Amoeba Music in Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish was accompanied by her brother Finneas and performed four songs during the set: &#8216;Billie Bossa Nova&#8217;, &#8216;Getting Older&#8217;, &#8216;TV&#8217; and &#8216;Happier Than Ever&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the audience between songs, Eilish said: \u201cThis is so cute\u2026You guys are just the best, and it&#8217;s been the most amazing year.  You guys have been so sweet and respectful about this album and I just love you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eilish also took requests from the audience, but joked about now singing one of her songs.  \u201cI&#8217;m hearing &#8216;Everybody Dies,&#8217; but it&#8217;s such a downer,\u201d she told the audience.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"ast-oembed-container\" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Billie Eilish - Live at Amoeba Music Hollywood 2022 (Full Performance)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L6jcgjeeOMI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Eilish released a two-track collection called &#8216;Guitar Songs&#8217; featuring &#8216;TV&#8217; and &#8216;The 30th&#8217;. <\/p>\n<p>Eilish previously premiered &#8216;TV&#8217; live during her Manchester gig last month where she performed the acoustic track on stage with her brother Finneas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>Finneas and I really wanted these to be yours as soon as possible,\u201d she told fans of the surprise release.  \u201cSo here they are!!  Performing &#8216;TV&#8217; on tour was such a highlight for us too, so we took the audio from the first night we played it in Manchester and put it in the song.<\/p>\n<p>Billie added: \u201cI get shivers every time I hear it.  Hope you love the songs and thank you for letting us share our music with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Apple Music, Eilish said she wrote the \u201cfirst verse and the chorus\u201d of &#8216;TV&#8217; a couple of months ago with Finneas.  She also discussed the lyrics of the track, where she sings \u201c<em>The internet is going wild \/ while they&#8217;re overturning Roe v.  Wade\u201d. <\/em>The pop star has spoken out against anti-abortion laws in the past.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wrote that line a few weeks before it was officially overturned,\u201d she said.  \u201cIt was a placeholder of doom.  I mean, it was the day of Glastonbury that it happened, and I was sitting in the\u2026 We were at this house, and I was sitting with the dogs in the grass.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish continued: \u201cMy mom came out, and she just stood there, and she went, &#8216;They overturned it.&#8217;  We all were just like\u2026 God, it was like a curtain of doom.  I mean, there was almost no even reaction.
