{"id":32694,"date":"2022-06-01T22:00:58","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T22:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/los-angeles-angels-star-mike-trout-mum-on-fantasy-football-dispute-undecided-on-being-league-commissioner-again\/"},"modified":"2022-06-01T22:00:58","modified_gmt":"2022-06-01T22:00:58","slug":"los-angeles-angels-star-mike-trout-mum-on-fantasy-football-dispute-undecided-on-being-league-commissioner-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/los-angeles-angels-star-mike-trout-mum-on-fantasy-football-dispute-undecided-on-being-league-commissioner-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout mum on fantasy football dispute, undecided on being league commissioner again"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>NEW YORK &#8211; Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout is trying to steer clear of the fantasy football league dispute between Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham and San Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson.<\/p>\n<p>After Pham told reporters on Tuesday that Trout was the &#8220;worst commissioner in fantasy sports&#8221; because he could have prevented the dispute between the two outfielders, Trout was asked on Wednesday to address whether Pederson broke the league&#8217;s rules.<\/p>\n<p>The three-time MVP and nine-time All-Star kept his answer brief.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I ain&#8217;t talking about fantasy football,&#8221; Trout said before his team&#8217;s game against the New York Yankees.  &#8220;It&#8217;s one of those things where everyone is competitive. Everybody loves fantasy football. Who doesn&#8217;t?&#8221;<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/a.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=\/photo\/2014\/0130\/mlb_g_baseball01jr_1296x1296.jpg&amp;w=130&amp;h=130&amp;scale=crop&amp;location=center\" width=\"65\" height=\"65\"\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1 Related<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Trout said that he had not decided whether he would take on the duties of being the fantasy football commissioner again but that he was prepared for the criticism.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Every commissioner I know always gets booed,&#8221; Trout said.<\/p>\n<p>The dispute emerged Friday when Pham slapped Pederson during pregame warm-ups.  Pederson had said he was accused of cheating for the way he had maneuvered the big-money fantasy league&#8217;s injured reserve spot.
