Lance Bass has claimed there is still a ‘wall’ around Britney Spears despite the pop star breaking free of her 13-year-long conservatorship. <\/p>\n

Britney’s life had been under the control of her father and conservator Jamie Spears before it was terminated by a judge last year. <\/p>\n

However, former * NSYNC star Lance has revealed that despite her freedom he has not been able to get in touch with the 40-year-old pop princess. <\/p>\n

Asked whether he has been able to speak to Britney, he told PageSix: ‘Not at all.’<\/p>\n

‘It’s just, you know, there’s a wall around her,’ he claimed. ‘And for some reason, those people don’t want her di lei old friends di lei involved with her life di lei.’<\/p>\n

Lance, 43, spoke to the outlet at the the Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s sixth annual World Dog Day in West Hollywood over the weekend. <\/p>\n

The performer has been friends with Britney since the late nineties when they both ruled the charts – Britney as a solo artist, and Lance with her boyfriend Justin Timberlake in * NSYNC. <\/p>\n

He also previously revealed that he came out to Britney before he publicly told the world he was gay, hinting at their close bond. <\/p>\n

Lance’s comments have emerged a day after worried fans of Britney have been questioning whether or not the singer is currently running her own Instagram page. <\/p>\n

The Toxic singer shared photos of herself froclicking on the beach in Mexico in a blue bikini on Tuesday evening, but her devoted followers noted she had already posted similar images last month. <\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed fans took to the comments section to quiz her on why she hasn’t posted any new images or videos recently and instead chose to recycle clips and pictures she has previously posted on her social media. <\/p>\n

A few people even suggested that she is no longer in control of her own account and someone else is scrolling through her old posts and reusing them. <\/p>\n

What’s going on? Worried Britney Spears fans aired their concerns after she reposted old content and questioned whether someone else is currently running her Instagram page<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One person said: ‘Always old things \ud83d\ude41 I love her, but I stopped believing she is in control of her Instagram since March. I don’t think she’s 100% free. But this topic is too unpopular to be addressed.’ <\/p>\n

Another agreed, and wrote: ‘It’s to the point where you want to see her holding today’s newspaper or something lmao. 100% old content. Who ever is running her IG is just scrolling down and picking pictures to repost. ‘ <\/p>\n

A third added: ‘People wake up. Britney is not free. They are always posting the same stuff because they no longer have content about her anymore. Unfortunately she is still prisoner and surrounded by conspiracy people. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
