Jayson Tatum set a new record as Team Giannis beat Team LeBron in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night. The Boston Celtics forward scored a game-high 35 points, the most ever by a player in the All-Star Game.

Tatum was the star of the night, leading Team Giannis to a 157-155 victory over Team LeBron. He was the only player to score in double figures for Team Giannis, shooting 12-of-19 from the field and 10-of-14 from the free-throw line. He also added eight rebounds and four assists.

Tatum’s 35 points broke the record of 34 points set by Wilt Chamberlain in the 1962 All-Star Game. He also set a new record for most points in a half, with 28 in the first half alone.

Tatum was named the MVP of the game, and he was joined on the All-Star team by teammate Kemba Walker and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help Team Giannis to the victory.

The victory was a big win for Team Giannis, who had lost the last two All-Star Games. It was also a big night for Tatum, who has been on a tear this season. He is averaging 25.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, and he is a legitimate MVP candidate.

Tatum’s record-setting performance in the All-Star Game was a reminder of just how talented he is. He is one of the best young players in the league, and he is only going to get better.
