Instead, you&#8217;ll apparently receive a message &#8211; asking you to restart after setting a date between the years 2000 and 2060.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Please close the game from the HOME Menu and restart after setting a date between 1\/1\/2000 and 12\/31\/2060.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<aside class=\"object object-oembed\"><!-- cache: oembed\/https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AnimalCrossing\/comments\/v10lxf\/in_new_horizons_you_cant_play_after_2061_the_game\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web2x&amp;context=3 @ 2022-06-02T06:42:01+01:00 --><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-card\">\n<p>      In new horizons you can&#8217;t play after 2061 the game will display that message from AnimalCrossing\n    <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Again, all you have to do is rewind to continue enjoying island life, so there&#8217;s no need to panic.
