Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are back in the United Kingdom for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and the Sussexes were just spotted taking in the Trooping the Color Parade. Meghan and Harry were not in the carriage procession or on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the parade and flypast; rather, the two watched the kickoff to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations from the Major General’s Office with other non-working members of the British royal family.

Specifically, they were photographed chatting with a few of their youngest relatives including Zara Tindall’s daughters Mia Tindall and Lena Tindall, and Peter Phillips’s daughters Savannah Phillips and Isla Phillips. Meghan was seen entertaining the four girls, playfully shushing them at one point, as was Harry:

The Tindall and Phillips kids have been seen at a few recent public events, perhaps indicating greater visibility within the British royal family. The royal kids (with the exception of Lena) attended the memorial service for Prince Philip in March, and Easter Sunday services at Windsor in April.

For her return to royal events, Meghan wore a stunning navy blue dress that she paired with a wide-brimmed hat featuring a big navy bow, which appears to be made by milliner Stephen Jones. Meghan made her final public appearance as a working royal at the Commonwealth Day Service in March 2020, and has since been living in California with Harry and their two children, Archie and Lili.

Also spotted at watching the House Guards Parade was Prince Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice, who could be seen peeking out a window behind the Cambridge children and Mia Tindall.

It is not clear which Platinum Jubilee events the Sussexes will attend, but spectators might see them again tomorrow at the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
