It&#8217;s already managed to get over 50k Likes at the time of writing!<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" align=\"center\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">haunted chocolatier screenshot <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aHe22PgxpS\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/aHe22PgxpS<\/a><\/span>\u2014 ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ConcernedApe\/status\/1554541146382053376?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">August 2, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>He also provided a bit of a development update on this new project, noting how progress was &#8220;pretty good&#8221; but also acknowledging how long it takes to make a game:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;progress is pretty good, but it does take a long time to make a game, and I&#8217;m making this compeltely from scratch (Except the very rare re-use of something from stardew, if it makes sense). Still just in the middle of the long grind&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He&#8217;s also reiterated how it&#8217;s <em>note<\/em> a sequel to Stardew Valley, but admits it could potentially share some lore:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s gonna be its own separate game with a self-contained identity&#8230; it&#8217;s not a &#8220;stardew 2&#8243;. But there might be some shared lore, I haven&#8217;t nailed down exactly to what degree the two will be connected&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Haunted Chocolatier was originally revealed last October, and promises to go &#8220;beyond the ordinary&#8221; with the assistance of &#8220;magical haunted ghost chocolate&#8221;.  Its gameplay loop will apparently involve gathering ingredients, making chocolate and running a chocolate shop.
