But fortunately, <!-- -->Ingram<!-- --> has the full support of co-stars,<!-- --> including Obi-Wan Kenobi himself, <!-- -->Ewan McGregor\u2014<!-- -->to<!-- -->s well as <em>Star Wars<\/em> study <!-- -->Lucasfilm <!-- -->and legions of <em>Star Wars<\/em> fans of the non-toxic variety.  Here&#8217;s McGregor&#8217;s video, for starters.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"twitter-embed\"><iframe data-src=\"https:\/\/gizmodo.com\/embed\/inset\/iframe?id=twitter-1531804726165401600&amp;autosize=1\" autoresize=\"true\" id=\"twitter-1531804726165401600\" data-recommended=\"false\" width=\"500\" height=\"159\" class=\"core-inset lazyload\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"webkitAllowFullScreen\" mozallowfullscreen=\"mozallowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-77igqf-0 bOfvBY\">While we wait to see more visible action taken, it&#8217;s worth noting <!-- -->this marks an <!-- -->improvement over<!-- --> inaction in past years<!-- --> on behalf of <!-- -->cast members like<!-- --> <span>Ahmed Best<\/span> and <span>Kelly Marie Tran<\/span>.  At the start of the Black Lives Matter movement, <span>Lucasfilm expressed<\/span> that it was<!-- --> listening to <span>John Boyega<\/span>,<!-- --> and most recently it<!-- --> took<!-- --> <span>a more prominent <!-- -->stand<\/span> for<!-- --> <em>The High Republic<\/em> show host Krystina Arielle by denouncing bullying and racism.  As part of the <em>Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/em> press tour, Moses Ingram was prepped on what to expect \u2014 including that the vocal outcry of bigots could<!-- --> turn into another pathetic chorus.  \u201cIt was something that Lucasfilm actually got in front of, and said, &#8216;This is a thing that, unfortunately, likely will happen.  But we are here to help you;  you can let us know when it happens&#8217;,<!-- -->&#8220;Ingram told <span>t<!-- -->he Independen<\/span>t.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-77igqf-0 bOfvBY\">Pre-<!-- -->emptive words of support <!-- -->can only do so much, however.  M.<!-- -->essages to Ingram included death threats and an onslaught of racial slurs against a Black woman in <em>Star Wars<\/em>and <!-- -->prompted the actress to address them on her personal social media<!-- -->. <!-- -->\u201cThere&#8217;s nothing anybody can do about this.  There&#8217;s nothing anybody can do to stop this hate.  The thing that bothers me is this feeling of\u2026 like I just gotta shut up and take it, \u201dIngram shared i<!-- -->n an <span>Instagram<\/span> story, <!-- -->along with screenshots of the messaging<!-- -->.  &#8220;<!-- -->I just have to grin and bear it.  And I&#8217;m not built like that.  Thank you to the people who show up for me in the comments and in the places that I&#8217;m not going to put myself.
